If contestants have any questions they must approach the tournament director. Each boat must have a U.S. Coast Guard horsepower rating plate attached to the boat by the manufacturer. High Schoolers are 9th to 12th Grade. Subject to the appeal process set forth in these rules. Contestants failing to register in person during the prescribed hours may result in disqualification. During both the open practice and the tournament, a contestant may not have the assistance or advice of anyone for the purposes of locating or catching bass, nor enter the tournament waters with anyone who has been on the tournament waters during the off-limits period including, but not limited to, a professional guide, state or federal wildlife agency employee, or any other person deemed an expert on these tournament waters by the Tournament Director, unless they are a contestant in the tournament. Any act deemed by WWBT officials to have the intention of preventing media coverage will result in disqualification from the event. RULE OF TIMEKEEPING the official time is kept by the Tournament Director at all times once open practice has begun. It is suggested the Pro contestant have a safety check with the Co-Angler each day prior to the launch to familiarize the location of all safety equipment. The following rules shall apply to all Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT) events. This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor child, in my absence. At no time may a Procontestant request that the co-angler contestant not fish. The membership fee is $60.00 per contestant per year. June 10 is the registration deadline to avoid late fees. When visually fishing a bed or for bedding bass, to be counted as a legal fish, all bass must be hooked inside the mouth and must be verified by your partner before being unhooked. Four on the west side of the park, which includes the Glen Iris Inn, Humphrey Nature Center, Upper, Middle and Lower falls, Stone Museum, and the Visitor's Center/Main Office.
